Baufritz Homes on the Channel Islands

Next week we will be holding an event to mark the assembly of a new house on the Channel Islands. The large villa built on a sloping site with stunning views to the neighbouring islands is our first build on the island of Guernsey. It has been designed by a local architect to work on our system.

This is our third project on the archipelago and cements our excellent reputation on the Channel Islands for manufacturing luxury modular homes. It started with House Crossland (pictured on the left), an exclusive modern home we built in Jersey in 2018. Set in a hillside location, it offers breathtaking views of the coastline. 

The second project on the Channel Islands, also due for completion in 2024, is a large, two-storey extension plus a basement and porch in Jersey. The project also includes renovating the existing building, constructing a new roof and installing Baufritz windows.

Baufritz houses are prefabricated in Erkheim in South Germany, securely packed on flat-bed trucks and transported to the Channel Islands by ferry, where they are put together.
