An exclusive Jersey home
House Crossland was the first Baufritz home built on the Channel Islands back in 2018. Perched in a spectacular hillside position overlooking St. Brélade's Bay, this exclusive modern residence offers breathtaking views of one of the finest coastal stretches on Jersey. The outstanding architectural design with sweeping terraces and patios blends with the natural surroundings. Unique features include rounded external corners that are echoed in the curved walls inside the house. The house also has an indoor pool, a wine tasting room and cellar, a gym and a home cinema.
Perfect partnership
Baufritz makes a point of working with local architects on the Channel Islands. That way, we can benefit from their in-depth knowledge of the market and the local building regulations. Once planning permission has been granted, we adapt their design to our modular building system. Thanks to the inherent flexibility of our system, we can build almost any style of house. We also have experience accessing difficult locations, such as sloping ground or sites with limited access. Each client is assigned a project manager who assesses the building plot in advance and accompanies them throughout the build. We also rely on companies for the groundworks and basement with whom we have partnered for many years.
First Baufritz home in Guernsey
Baufritz is working on its very first house on the island of Guernsey. This stunning villa in a New England maritime style is built into a gentle slope to take full advantage of its coastal position, with wonderful views of the neighbouring islands. It was designed by a local architect and adapted to the Baufritz building system. Materials have been chosen to ensure maximum durability and resilience and withstand the elements: For example, marine-grade aluminium is used to prevent corrosion, while the clay tiles and powder-coated aluminium rain gutters are rust-free. Even the windows have been covered with cladding to avoid exposing the wood to the sea air.

Baufritz homes are prefabricated at our state-of-the-art production facilities in Germany and transported to the Channel Islands to be assembled. We have a reputation for premium quality, German precision and reliability. Because our bespoke homes are manufactured off-site, assembly on the building site takes just a fraction of the time required for a traditional bricks-and-mortar house. And because our facilities are sheltered from the wind and rain, we can guarantee your home will be delivered on time.
