Baufritz walls are patently superior
Baufritz walls are unique. Developed over 30 years ago, they are manufactured in our factory in Germany using only natural materials to guarantee a healthy living environment. The timber frame is filled with our own, patented insulation made from wood shavings impregnated with whey and soda. This keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer. They also have an airtight membrane and our own Xund-E electrosmog protection to block out electromagnetic radiation. A vapour-permeable layer protects the house from inclement weather while allowing moisture to pass through. With a wide range of façade options and a natural gypsum or wood panelling finish inside, Baufritz walls can be tailored to suit your personal taste.
Cutting-edge modular construction
Baufritz homes are prefabricated at our state-of-the-art production facilities in Germany. Our modular building system is inherently flexible and can be adapted to almost any design. Thanks to standardised production processes and precise planning, we not only build your home quicker, but also at a much lower cost. In addition, because Baufritz houses are manufactured off-site, assembly on the building site takes just a fraction of the time required for a traditional bricks-and-mortar house, reducing stress on the environment and on your neighbours. And because production in our heated halls is protected from wind and rain, we can deliver your house on schedule, too. That means your home is completed on time and you can move in as soon as possible.
Designed with sustainability in mind
Baufritz is known for building sustainable bespoke homes using exclusively natural materials such as timber sourced from local forests in Germany. Each home is carbon-neutral, energy-efficient and healthy to live in. That was a very important aspect for Astrid Woloszczuk when she started looking for a suitable partner to build her dream home. She also wanted to have a say in the design of the house. Both factors convinced her to choose Baufritz. But what impressed her most was that with Baufritz, she had the possibility of creating a totally bespoke home that combines function with beauty.
