As climate change takes center stage, the way we build homes must evolve. A conversation that started during the German Environmental Award ceremony at the end of October 2023 identified several ideas that should be shared with the wider community to help us achieve our net - zero sustainability goals. We brought together three experts to explore the relationship between climate change, weather patterns and how the construction industry and architects need to change their approach to avert a climate crisis.

Our experts, Baufritz CEO Dagmar Fritz-Kramer and Prof Dr Friederike Otto, climate scientist at the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and Environment, have been recognised for their work with sustainability and climate change. Our very own Baufritz UK CEO Oliver Rehm, a recognised expert in sustainable architecture, closes the knowledge loop.
